E -cigarette online retailer website Fasttech is about to close

2022-12-09

Lan Cave New Consumer Report, on December 9th, according to foreign news reports, after ten years of service for low -cost electronic cigarette users around the world, the legendary Chinese online retailer Fasttech is about to close.

The company posted on December 5th to announce the decision to close at its customer forum.

The company wrote: It made this decision mainly because of the new legislation of the electronic cigarette industry. New measures and restrictions make the road forward more uncertain, which also makes us no longer able to maintain competitiveness in terms of price and delivery. We try our best to avoid going to this. However, under the current industry supervision, we have to be forced to close.

"We want to take this opportunity to thank you for each of our loyal customers in the past decade. I am glad to serve everyone. Without you, we can't stick to it for so long. ten years."

As of December 7, the company's website seemed to be running, but almost all electronic cigarette products were marked as sold out. Fasttech has not specified the final date of the order, but it seems to be completed now.

China banned domestic online electronic cigarette sales in 2019, but this does not seem to affect FastTech. It is the newly introduced Chinese license and sales regulations, and the new tax plan that has caused the company to close. The neighboring Hong Kong electronic cigarette ban -including the prohibition of Chinese electronic cigarette products that are prohibited from being imported from Hong Kong -may also play a certain role. Most of Fasttech's low -cost shipping passes through Hong Kong.

Fasttech sometimes sells electronic cigarettes (and other) products to overseas customers at a close price price, and is transported at a very cheap price. In fact, they are sometimes very cheap, so that the owner of the small electronic cigarette shop is purchased directly from Fasttech instead of purchasing from domestic dealers.

Other electronic cigarette shop owners hate Fasttech, complaining that new customers do not realize the price of Fasttech in their stores unrealisticly.

In addition to bargainers, Fasttech also provides services for many customers in countries/regions that prohibit electronic cigarette products. In these countries, small packages equipped with electronic cigarette equipment often find a large number of prohibited products through customs inspectors.

The retailer became popular for the first time in 2013 because it was mentioned at ECF and Reddit's R/Electronic_cigarette Subreddit and other electronic cigarette forums, as well as Joe "Vapor Joe" Petner articles. At that time, the electronic cigarette market in the United States and Europe had exploded.

Fasttech sells almost all Chinese cigarette -related products, including many popular hoods and atomizers, a variety of parts and accessories, and semi -fastest cloning and replica of many well -known products. Fasttech also sells non -electronic cigarette products with many types, such as AV cables and adapters, mobile phone cases, chargers, non -brand tablets, flashlights and batteries.

But it is the electronic cigarette product that allows Fasttech to continue to operate, and it may be that the dependence on the e -cigarette market has led the company to fail.

Since Fasttech's heyday of 2013-2018, the electronic cigarette forum has declined and replaced by thousands of isolated Facebook pages. The interest in the experiment, repair and modification of electronic cigarette products has weakened. Now most new users use small cigarettes and disposable products to enter this space in most new users -these products do not require accessories, do not promote experiments or need to be modified.

In 2013, the Fasttech website was a bit like the virtual representative of the e -cigarette wild west. Fasttech's demise represents a more severe situation: corporateization and integration of the electronic cigarette market, the government's supervision of products and transportation, the growth of prohibited taxes, and the rapid shrinking of the future of e -cigarette users who have taken for granted and hopeful future shrinking Essence

Goodbye, FastTech.
