New Consumer Report, October 13th, according to foreign news reports, on Wednesday, a 28 -year -old Dimona resident was seriously hospitalized after the electronic cigarette exploded on his face.

According to reports, the man was working in a railway in the south of the country at the time of the incident.

The bystanders came to help the injured man and convened medical staff to rush to the scene. The medical staff of the Red David Shield sent the seriously injured man to the Soloca Medical Center in Belsheba for treatment.

"We were called to a person lying on the side of the road. He was completely sober, his chest was burned, and his face was bleeding. The person at the scene told us that he was injured by the failure of electronic cigarettes and exploded." MDA medical staff said.

It is unclear what the device explodes.

Professor Hagai Levine, the main public health official, told Channel 12 that the damage caused by the injured man increased the other destructive health results that the electronic cigarette had proven.

"Cigarettes and electronic cigarette companies continue to aim at young people, the purpose is to make them addicted, and at the same time use the weak links of supervision," he said.

In 2019, the Ministry of Health considers the comprehensive ban on electronic cigarettes, which is usually called electronic cigarettes because it is reported that due to the surge in the use of electronic cigarettes, especially among young people, the United States and electronic cigarettes are related to death.

In June, the US Food and Drug Administration banned the sale of electronic cigarette products produced by JUUL because the seasoning oil produced by the company contained high -content nicotine.

Israel has prohibited imports from JUUL products containing more than 20 mg nicotine in 2018. The use of electronic cigarettes is still legal.

"Today's operation is the FDA promised to ensure that all electronic cigarettes and electronic nicotine transport system products currently sold to consumers meet our further progress in compliance with our public health standards." FDA director Robert M. Califf said at the time.

The 24 countries/regions including Argentina, Brazil, India and Hong Kong are completely prohibited from using electronic cigarettes.

The United States and Australia and other countries have strict laws on the use and imports of electronic cigarettes and their related products.
