A new study shows that exposure to specific chemicals in electronic cigarette liquids may cause arrhythmia and electrical dysfunction, and the heart effect of electronic cigarettes is similar to that of traditional cigarettes.

UPI reported by the U.S. Hezhong International Society, the research at the Institute of Environment, the University of Louisville, Kristina Lee Brown Environment, found that in mouse models, exposure to electronic flue gas solidar can lead to arrhythmia, premature heartbeat and irregular heartbeat.

The research results were published on Tuesday in "Natural Communications".

"Our research results show that short -term contact with electronic cigarettes will destroy the heart rhythm through specific chemicals in electronic liquids," Alexcar, assistant professor of the Department of Physics at Louisville University, said at a press conference.
