Blue Hole New consumption report, October 24, according to foreign news reports, a new study shows that smoking electronic cigarettes during pregnancy may have long-term effects on the lungs.

Researchers have found that exposure to cigarette vapors in utero or in utero, with or without nicotine, can lead to lung dysfunction in adulthood, and we've also seen lung scarring.

The study's senior author is Dr. Matthew Gore, an assistant professor of study and research at the Ohio State University College of Nursing.

This was determined after exposing pregnant mice to vapors from e-cigarettes with and without nicotine.

Based on the results, Gore said, researchers insist that pregnant women should not vaping for the sake of their babies, lest they develop lung disease.

In the meantime, those studying e-cigarettes during pregnancy are already doing further research, which includes giving mice allergens to see if they develop more severe asthma than mice that weren't exposed to e-cigarettes in utero.
