ELF BAR statement: meeting with the British regulatory agency, promised to remove unscuburable products

2023-02-11

According to the news on February 11, the best -selling one -time electronic cigarette brand ELF BAR in Britain, after the dispute was caused by the exception of the 600 model product Nicotine content, met with the British medicine and health product regulatory agency (MHRA) to discuss the actions that electronic cigarette manufacturers will take. To ensure compliance with British regulations.

ELF BAR subsequently issued a statement, the following is the full text of the statement:

According to our recent notification, after holding a meeting with the Drug and Health Products (MHRA) today, we hope to provide you with the latest information about ELF BAR.

Recent news reports say that there are problems with the compliance of the ELFBAR 600 in the British market.

After these allegations, we immediately found that some products exceeded the allowable electronic liquid filling level in the British market.

Although this problem means that the product does not fully comply with British regulations, we have not found any problems in nicotine concentration, or any problem that may mean product safety compromises in any way.

Today, we have met the Drug and Health Product Supervision Bureau to discuss and ensure that correction measures have been taken to ensure the ELFBAR 600 in the British market. At the conference, we received the support of UKVIA and IBVTA, two industry associations in the British electronic cigarette industry.

Our obligations are very clear, and there is no doubt that we have admitted that we do not do enough in some ways. Although MHRA agrees to exist in these shortcomings, they do not think they do not comply with any security issues, but they still violate British regulations.

MHRA said their suggestion was to withdraw the product from the market.

We agree with this suggestion and will voluntarily withdraw from ELFBAR 600 from the British market. We will help to ensure that they are removed.

We will update all distribution and retail partners how to implement correction measures after reaching an agreed.

In addition, we also promise to investigate all other electronic cigarette products we exported to take any action we think we need to ensure the compliance of our entire company.

We thank MHRA for their support in this emergency and important matters, and have the opportunity to cooperate, so that all our products fully meet British regulations.

We have promised further meeting with MHRA to ensure that our products meet the requirements.
