Utah is considering allowing e-cigarette makers to increase the nicotine content of their products if they receive premarket product approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, an official with the state's health department said recently.

The Utah health department official said they are adjusting the rules to better align them with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
